Loasso MV was a Italian Cargo steamer of 6,482 tons built in 1921 by Ansaldo San Giorgio, Muggiano, Italy. In 1929 she was renamed MESSICO and in 1936 LOASSO for new Italian owners Polena.

On the 26th June 1940 she was mined when 3 miles from Mattinata.
