Lettens Jan31/12/2012The Finnish merchant MARTTI-RAGNAR, carrying a cargo of cellulose, sulfite and woodpulp from Kemi to Ellesmere Port, England was stopped and scuttled by the German submarine U-4, 5 miles south from Arendal, 23 September 1939. The crew of 26 was saved.
