Allen Tony03/05/2009The motor tanker San Calisto MV, Capt. A. R. Hicks, struck a mine and sank two and a half miles S.W. of the Tongue lightship on December 2nd, 1939. Six men were killed and seven wounded. Capt. Hicks was among the survivors
