  History

Lettens Jan16/10/2008When Comitas struck a mine at the Wielingen, she was badly damaged. She was towed by a Dutch tug to Flushing, but finally grounded at Schone Waardin.

No crew were lost. The cargo was saved under the supervision of the Mayor of Vlissingen (Flushing).

She later broke her back and was later leveled by the Germans, together with a pub at the dike!
