Built in 1919 by Hepples and owned by C Neill Ltd.; compound expansion engine; one boiler; 65 n.h.p.; single shaft.

On June 4th 1940, S/S River Humber was on passage from Dublin to Preston in ballast, when she was sunk after a collision with HMS Folkestone.
