Allen Tony15/06/2008Bore VIII SS was a Turkish Passsenger/Cargo Vessel of 4,254 tons built in 1907 by Wm Beardmore & Company, Dalmuir, Yard No 490 for the Pacific Steam Navigation Company, Liverpool as the HUANCHACO SS.

In 1926 she was purchased by General F.A.Sutton, Liverpool and renamed FRANK SUTTON SS.

Later in 1926 she was purchased by Ang A/B Bore, Abo/Turkey and renamed BORE V111 SS.

On the 24th February she ran aground and was wrecked near Borkum when on passage from Lulea for Emden with a cargo of ore.
