Allen Tony09/11/2008Ellengowan SS was a Iron steamer of 58/36 tons. Built Christiania, Norway, 1866; Reg. Melbourne, Port Darwin. Dimensions 79.7 x 15.1 x 8.4 ft. Operated as a missionary boat in the Pacific and New Guinea for some time, then sold. Wrecked on a reef in the Daly River, Northern Territory, April 1888
