About Builders
 Todd-Houston Shipbuilding Co., Houston
Todd's Houston shipyard was originally the WWII emergency yard Brown Shipbuilding. Todd bought it at the end of the war and operated it as a barge construction and repair yard until 1987. Until recently it was operated by Brown & Root (now KBR) as a topside construction facility. It was sold piecemeal to multiple buyers in 2004.
