  History

Lettens Jan28/04/2008A George Allan, Born Perth area, was a 1st Officer aboard this vessel, he was one of a family of 13 children, my Grannies Brother.

The family story is that he scaled the cliffs with the ships papers, but died of exposure on the cliff top.

It is unknow where he is buried, possibly a chance on the Isle of Man.
