Lettens Jan31/05/2012On June 11th, 1943, US submarine Finback (SS-230) attacks a Palau-bound convoy, west of Babelthuap and torpedoes and sinks the Japanese army cargo ship Genoa Maru (6791 GRT). Patrol Boat No.46 counterattacks, but Finback escapes undamaged.
