Allen Tony27/08/2008Captain Antonis K SS was a Costa Rican Cargo Steamer of 4,663 tons built in 1919 by Lithgows, Port Glasgow, Yard No 726 for the Donaldson Line, Glasgow. She was powered by a steam 3 cylinder triple expansion engine. Engines by Rankin & Blackmore, Greenock. In 1936 she was purchased by Ogmore Steamship Co. as the TUSKAR ROCK. In 1937 she was acquired by Yannaghas Bros. and renamed ARMATHIA. In 1952 she was purchased by Cia de Vap.

Costa Rica and renamed CAPTAIN ANTONIS K SS. On the 1st March 1954 she sank off Algeria after leaking when on passage from Newport Monmouthshire for Taranto with a cargo of coal.
