Allen Tony11/10/2007Yewcrest SS was a British Cargo Steamer built in 1907 and of 3,774 tons. She was formerly called IVO RACIC in 1940. On the 25th August 1940 when on route from CARDIFF and LIVERPOOL for WABANA in ballast she was torpedoed by U-37 and sunk. 1 crew lost from a total of 38.
