Allen Tony11/10/2007Ioanna SS was a Greek Steam Freighter built in 1907 of 950 tons. On the 1st June 1940 when on route from ALEXANDRIA for TYNE she was attacked by U-37 by gunfire and sunk 120 miles W CAP FINISTERRE. All the crew were saved and landed at Vigo.
