  History

Jan Lettens19/09/2010On 2 February, 1937 the squadron of seaplanes of the AS-88 from Melilla made one last attack on the Dolphin, from 1,000 meters height, lieutenant Klumper's plane dropped two bombs of 250 kilos with a delayed fuse, one of which exploded in the center.

Delfin sank there in front of Torrox, just before Nerja, where the wreck is now very popular with divers as she lays in shallow waters.

Based in Belfast at Queen’s Island, Harland and Wolff are a huge and very important shipbuilding company.
