On February 1st, 1917, Inverlyon was sunk by the German submarine U-55 (Wilhelm Werner), 15 miles NxW from Trevose Head.
Allen Tony09/09/2010FV INVERLYON was a British registered fishing smack of 59grt. On the 1st February 1917 when 15 miles N by W from Trevose Head she was captured by German submarine U-55 (Wilhelm Werner) and sunk by gunfire.
