Allen Tony26/06/2007Hedrun was a Swedish cargo steamer of 2325 tons and built in 1920 and owned by SVEA, STOCKHOLMS REDERIAKTIEBOLAGET. On the 16th August 1940 when on route from SWANSEA for NEWPORT R.I carrying a cargo of 3009 tons of coal she was torpedoed by U-48 and sunk. 10 crew lost from a total crew of 30.
