Vleggeert Nico06/01/2011The French cruiser-minelayer La Tour d'Auvergne was sunk by internal explosion while lying in Casablanca harbour and disembarking mines. The explosion and fire which followed destroyed three armed trawlers and damaged nine other patrol vessels and an auxiliary minesweeper.
