Allen Tony26/06/2007Darcoila was a British cargo steamer of 4084 tons and built in 1928 and owned by DOUGLAS & RAMSEY . TROODOS SHIPPING CO LTD. On the 26th September 1940 when on route from BARRY 18th September 40 & MILFORD HAVEN 20th September 1940 for PHILADELPHIA in ballast she was torpedoed without warning by U-32 and sunk. 37 crew missing.
