Allen Tony26/06/2007Eurymedon was a British Merchant Steamer of 6223 tons and built in 1924 and owned by HOLT & CO, ALFRED. OCEAN STEAMSHIPS CO LTD. On the 25th September 1940 when on route from LIVERPOOL for TABLE BAY and JAVA carrying a general cargo of 3000 tons she was torpedoed by U-29 and sunk. 29 men missing from a total crew of 93.
