Allen Tony26/06/2007The Hanover, built in 1757, was a brigantine of the Falmouth Packet Company. She was en-route from Falmouth in Cornwall to Lisbon in Portugal carrying a large amount of gold and valuables. She was wrecked in a gale in December 1763, when she was driven ashore. Only 3 people survived from the passengers and crew of 67.
